New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University, where I earned my master’s degree in counseling. I truly love helping individuals, couples, and families find clarity, healing, and balance in their lives. Much of my work has been with people living with developmental and physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, and the caregivers who support them. These experiences have deepened my belief in every person’s capacity for growth and resilience. As a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–Informed Counselor, I often integrate mindfulness, emotional regulation, and communication skills into sessions—helping clients build practical tools for daily life while exploring the deeper meaning behind their experiences.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will complete an intake and assessment to identify your goals for therapy. This meeting also provides an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your progress.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with a deep commitment to fostering growth and resilience. As a proud graduate of Michigan State University with a master’s degree in counseling, I bring a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, drawing from psychoanalytic, behavioral, and person-centered perspectives to guide my work. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families create meaningful change and improve their quality of life. My clinical experience includes extensive work with clients living with developmental and physical/mobility disabilities, neurodevelopmental differences such as Autism and ADHD, chronic illnesses, and the caregivers who support them. As a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–Informed Counselor, I integrate practical strategies for emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness into the therapeutic process.
