Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LSCW) in Pennsylvania. I have been working in Outpatient Mental Health Therapy for 9 years. My focus is on helping people work through difficult events that have occured in their life and helping them move through the healing process. I am certified in Trauma-Focussed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents. I also use trauma focussed skills while working with adults. I also have completed training in Adoption and Foster care (TAC), which is important to me since I am adopted. I have extensive training in grief, anxiety, depression and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Looking forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session we will be building rapport and discussing what has brought you to therapy. I will create a plan about what goals you want to work on and specific interventions we will focus on.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider I feel I am able to connect on many different levels with my clients since I come from a very unique upbringing with many obstacles that I had to overcome. I am able to find strengths in people that they may not have known they had. I work with the client at their own pace while also being able to give them the extra motivation to make changes needed to thrive.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients to help empower them to develop healthier thinking patterns and coping mechanisms through CBT techniques. Helping clients with understanding how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected is beneficial in the therapeutic process.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have been certified for 6 years in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents. I use TF-CBT to help with processing traumatic experiences and overcome challenges.

Strength-Based

I am a true believer that everyone has their own unique strengths. I work with each client to help them discover their strength and educate on ways to implement these strengths and other skills into their everyday lives.
