Hiya! I am a licensed professional clinical counselor here in California. I have been in the field for 5 years now and have grown a soft spot for working with trauma, families, and neurodivergent individuals. I take great pride in helping people and families from all walks of life take steps forward in their journey to healing and acceptance. I work on increasing the use of healthy coping skills in order to process and work through hard emotions and memories to better ones overall wellbeing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be about getting to know and feel safe with one another. It can be nerve wrecking to open up to someone new, my goal is to connect on a person to person level while gaining background and insight on your goals and needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a strong focus on teaching, modeling, and implementing coping and communication skills and naturally integrating it into our sessions as we process and work through your needs so it becomes second nature to utilize in the real world. My compassion and dedication to each individuals needs help me tailor treatment to best suit and address your needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With CBT therapy, we learn how to reframe, challenge, and recognize how our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions interact. We will process and identify where healthy changes and shifts can be made to then change our overall well being.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma affects everyone differently and on their own timeline. With trauma informed care, there is no judgement, rules, or rush to work through past or current stressors, triggers, or memories that you wish to work through. The process is uniquely yours and you set the guidelines.

EMDR

EMDR is an amazing tool to utilize moving through trauma events and triggering memories. While the process can be quite intense, it is an amazing process to take your disturbance levels from a 10 down to a 0 so the events and memories no longer bring you down.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a great tool to learn to cope with, manange, and move forward in a new mindset with negative emotions and behaviors. Integrated with talk therapy, we can identify and apply when and where skills will be useful to help us in our day to day life.

Family Therapy

Each family has unique needs and come from different walks of life. Through family therapy, we can learn how to hear one another, understand each other's point of views, and learn to agree to disagree. Communication in a family unit is key to moving forward in a healthy way and through coaching and a non-judgemental place, family therapy can be the tool that a family is looking for.
