LPC, 20 years of experience
I bring over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and am passionate about providing trauma-informed care to every client I work with. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting children, teens, young adults, parents, and families in a wide variety of diverse settings — from community-based programs to clinical environments — and I deeply value the unique strengths, stories, and challenges that each individual brings. In my work, I believe that therapy is most effective when it’s individualized. Together, we will identify your personal strengths, explore what has been helpful for you in the past, and develop a plan that is tailored specifically to your needs, goals, and values. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, always keeping you at the center of the process, and work collaboratively to find what feels most effective and supportive for you. As your therapist, my commitment is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, and I strive to build a strong, trusting connection where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful growth and healing. Whether you are navigating past trauma, managing stress or anxiety, facing life transitions, or seeking greater self-understanding, I am here to walk alongside you — helping you uncover your strengths and supporting you every step of the way.
In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and begin working together to identify your personal strengths and the interventions or strategies that have been helpful for you in the past. Together, we’ll explore the most effective and individualized path to support you in reaching your therapeutic and personal goals.

My areas of specialty include: anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, autism, family relationship issues, women's issues, life changes/transitions, and parents coming to terms with their child's medical or mental health diagnosis.
With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) we will work together to notice unhelpful or negative thought patterns, learn to challenge or reframe those thoughts, and practice new behaviors that support your goals.
The therapeutic alliance — the collaborative relationship between therapist and client — is often considered one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes in therapy, sometimes even more important than the specific techniques or interventions used.
Trauma-informed care changes the entire tone of the therapeutic space. Understanding how trauma can impact someone’s emotions, behaviors, relationships, and even their body, we will do more than just treat symptoms — I will create safety, choice, and empowerment in your treatment.
Individualized therapy is where real, meaningful change happens. By blending strengths-based work with tailored interventions, we will not just address “problems” — but we will tap into your own resilience, capacity, and agency.
