LPCC, 10 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi! My name is Juliette and I'm a licensed therapist in California, Washington and Virginia states. I have extensive experience across all levels of care, as a Clinical Director and therapist, including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. I've worked in community clinics, college mental health, primary care, non-profits, and private practice. I support clients in their healing from trauma, body image issues, disordered eating/eating disorder recovery, identity development, anxiety, depression, addiction, major life and career transitions, and relationship challenges. My clinical work is guided by a person-centered, integrative approach, drawing on EMDR, DBT, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, somatic techniques, and creative arts modalities. Aside from my work as a therapist, I've always been involved in the performing arts for fun! I served as a Board President of a mental health and arts nonprofit for a few years and have long advocated for holistic healing through movement, self-expression, and the creative arts.
Our first sessions are about getting comfortable and building a sense of trust. You’ll have the chance to learn more about my therapeutic approach and see if it feels like a good fit for you. I’ll ask questions about your background, current concerns, and hopes for therapy so we can set meaningful goals together. My goal always is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel truly seen and heard as you begin to explore your emotions and needs.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my warm, compassionate, and person-centered style. I aim to meet each client with curiosity rather than judgment, creating a safe space for genuine exploration and growth. While I hold space for deep processing, I also take a more directive approach—helping you identify goals, clarify patterns, and move toward meaningful change, rather than simply offering a place to vent. My work is grounded in collaboration and empowerment. I draw from a variety of modalities and clinical experiences to tailor sessions to your unique needs, offering practical tools, insights, and support to help you move forward with confidence.
I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen and heard in your most authentic self. Together, we’ll explore your emotions and needs, process what’s coming up for you, and clarify the steps that align with your growth. My role is to collaborate and guide, not to dictate, so that you can feel empowered to take full ownership of your life and decisions.
ACT is a core modality for me as a therapist, alongside other trauma informed and evidence based practices that I use.
CBT is also a core modality and perspective I lead from as a therapist, helping client understand their internal dialogues and narratives, and develop deeper understanding to how thoughts, emotions and behaviors are interrelated.
My work is compassion led and I aim to help my clients find more compassion for themselves in all that we process through.
I am an EMDR trained therapist (since 2022). I love using EMDR in therapy work with clients, as just one of many tools to address deeper trauma, addiction urges, and core beliefs, emotions and somatic experiences. I also have training in the DeTUR EMDR treatment protocol focused on supporting clients with addictive tendencies and concerns, including substance use and eating disorder behaviors and urges.
The core of my work is humanistic, or person-centered care. I always will be acting as a collaborator in your care, helping you feel empowered to lead the way in your needs and goals and seeing what interventions and support will be best suited based on every individual client.
