I am a passionate therapist whose mission is to help you to achieve emotional wellness. As a licensed clinical social worker, I’ve practiced therapy for over 7 years in a variety of settings. My therapeutic treatment modalities include Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Prolonged Exposure and Solution Focused Brief Therapy with an understanding of choosing from eclectic, appropriate modalities to meet the client’s needs. I have experience treating a wide variety of mental health diagnoses including: anxiety, depression, trauma, and bipolar disorder and substance abuse. Experienced treatment of adults presenting with psychosocial, substance use, grief and loss, or relationship and couples counseling, allows me to assist with providing the necessary tools for growth and change. I believe that trust, within a therapeutic relationship, is paramount in fostering a comfortable environment to engage in therapy. I am a lover of animals, yoga and art. I love to work with people of all racial and cultural backgrounds and sexual orientations. I have experience working with people who are neurodivergent and neurotypical. In my scope of work, I create a safe space for open, non-judgmental, communication. I have experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can expect to get to know each other. The first session is very informal and is mostly an introduction to each other. We will discuss your treatment goals so that I can best support you on this journey by creating your treatment plan.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Kealsey specializes is utilization of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).

As a therapist my biggest strength is that I will work to make sure that I provide you with the best care possible. I work to provide a safe environment so that healing can happen. I have a broad range of expertise and therefore have an understanding of a plethora of issues that one might come to therapy to address.

I have expertise in working with adults who have histories of trauma, and substance use disorders. I have experience working with Veterans and survivors of domestic violence.
