Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT in practice with adolescents and adults. I use it in my practice to learn what clients want out of life, what they want to change, and then supporting them in achieving those goals. My role as a therapist is to listen, teach, and encourage, while the client’s roles is to express concerns, learn, and implement that learning. CBT is patient-centered, and solution focused. Every client has the ability to change if they are willing to do the work.
