I am a dedicated therapist and a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve their personal goals. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I provide a safe and supportive space where we work together to address concerns, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life. “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” If you need support managing emotions like grief and loss, anxiety, sadness or depression, anger, and more. Even if you just need someone to talk to in a nonjudgmental setting. I'm here to support and guide you through these feelings so that we may work together to find a way ahead. Unity is the foundation of my beliefs and core values. I believe that communities help us become resilient in the moments when we feel most alone. I’m sharing two more old African proverbs with you that I learned as a child from individuals in my African community. “None of us, is as smart as all of us.” and “A person is a person because of other persons.”

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and establishing a comfortable, open space for you to share your concerns. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, goals, and what brought you to therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the process and discuss what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll start building a plan tailored to your needs, ensuring you feel supported and empowered from the very beginning.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported, as well as my skill in tailoring evidence-based approaches to meet each client's unique needs. I am compassionate, collaborative, and deeply committed to helping clients achieve their goals. I excel at breaking down complex challenges into manageable steps and empowering clients with practical tools to foster growth and resilience.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are motivated to work on personal growth and are open to exploring new strategies to overcome challenges. This includes clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions, as well as those seeking to build healthier relationships or improve self-esteem. I also work well with clients who value a collaborative and supportive approach, where we tailor the process to their unique needs and goals. I enjoy working with teens and young adults.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have significant experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress management. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions, and develop practical strategies to create positive change. I tailor the approach to each client’s unique needs, ensuring that the process feels collaborative and empowering as we work towards their goals."
