Hello! My name is Myrnelle and I am a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 15 years of healthcare experience. Before specializing in mental health, I worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for more than 5 years. My diverse background in healthcare has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both physical and mental health, allowing me to offer holistic and compassionate care to my patients.
I take a personalized approach to each patient's care, tailoring the treatments to meet their unique needs. As an experienced provider, I use evidence-based practices to help my clients achieve their mental health goals. Your initial appointment can last 60-75 minutes. This allows me to get to know you, understand your specific needs, and provide a better quality of care. Follow up appointments can last 30 minutes, depending on how much time we need for re-evaluation, medication management and/or brief therapy.
As a dual-certified PMHNP and FNP, my greatest strength lies in compassionate care, the ability to understand patients, make them feel heard and provide patient-centered care in my extensive experience with patients of all ages and in diverse settings. I am deeply committed to providing compassionate care, and my patients have often expressed how my support has helped them achieve their health goals and successfully navigate through difficult situations.
Mental health services I offer includes, psychiatric evaluation, medication management with incorporated solution-focused brief therapy, and second opinions. I offer ongoing care to ensure my clients have all the support needed to thrive. I provide telehealth services for those who prefer to receive care from the comfort of their own home, and minimal in-office services. I treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions and illnesses for adolescents up to older adults. This includes but is not limited to: Anxiety and Panic Disorders Mood Disorders including depression and bipolar disorder ADHD Insomnia Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Eating disordered Other Disrupted Behavioral and Mental Processes

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a cornerstone of my practice, focusing on helping clients identify and reframe negative thought patterns to foster healthier behaviors and emotional well-being. By working collaboratively, we develop practical strategies to address challenges, enhance coping skills, and promote long-term positive change.
I provide medication management services with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, focusing on addressing concerns efficiently by identifying solutions and leveraging strengths for lasting progress in areas like stress, relationships, and personal growth.
I believe in holistic care mentally and physically. We explore the importance of nutrition, exercise, medication management, and therapy.
As a mental-health provider, the supportive treatment approach is used in each session. I promote and allow for a non-judgmental environment, where you can share your feelings and concerns. I focus on providing encouragement, emotional support, and validation during difficult life circumstances and challenges.

This was my first appointment and I felt so comfortable right away. Dr. Fleur-Aime truly listened to me without judgment, asked thoughtful questions, and explained everything clearly. I left the session feeling hopeful and supported for the first time in a long while.
