Navigating life’s constant changes can be overwhelming — after all, we’re all experiencing this journey for the first time, and mistakes are simply part of the process. As a therapist, my goal is to help you turn challenges into growth opportunities and support you in building a more fulfilling, balanced life. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pacific Lutheran University, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Psychology from Walden University. Since becoming a licensed professional counselor in 2018, I’ve worked in psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, and private practice — giving me the privilege of supporting a wide range of individuals and concerns. I often say, “I’ve seen a little bit of everyone with a little bit of everything going on.”
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, go over some formalities and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Having 7 years of experience has helped me develop my skills for listening to my clients needs and identifying the root cause. I have a strong ability to meet each client where they are at and ensure they feel understood throughout their journey to achieve their therapy goals. You won't struggle to get a hold of me and will feel like you have gained something with each session.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have a passion for helping those who are struggling with their confidence, self-esteem, and ability to navigate life obstacles. My clients are from all walks of life and struggle to implement healthy boundaries and communicate. Most of my clients feel stuck or discouraged about their ability to obtain or achieve change in their life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and a Person-Centered approach to guide our work together. You can expect genuine care, humor, thought-provoking conversations, and a meet-you-where-you-are attitude to help make the counseling process both impactful and approachable
