I offer support-based services utilizing both faith-based and secular perspectives to help guide clients to determine their best short and long-term personalized goals and objectives. We will create a client plan to help you achieve your personal goals and objectives in the most advantageous time frame possible. I am non-judgmental and try to meet my clients where they are in their life journey and transition to desired future outcomes and refinements. I work with mild, moderate and severe mental health clients who may be in a current crisis with their marriage, stage of life issues, or self-improvement. I work with adults of all ages, gender and sexual orientations. I have experience in counseling in faith-based, as well as secular perspectives and believe that each person has gifts and passions to offer to themselves, their families and their communities. We often need empathy, support and feedback to fulfill our expectations and goals in life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

A friendly open conversation of client needs, expectations and goals. I will provide feedback on a treatment plan and time frame for results. I am open to client's past experiences in therapy, issues they are concerned about and discussions on the value of medication and referrals to those services as interested. I also try to be client centered and I advocate for your progress and getting your therapy needs met.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT(Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Mindfulness, Boundaries and Gottman Marital Theory.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I try to meet clients where they are in the present time without judgment. I try to work with a client's strenghs to further enhance their ability to grow and develop into a person of more wisdom and perspective on their life and their family.
