Hi I'm Natalie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 10 years of experience working in the field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and parenting challenges. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life, and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll spend time getting to know each other, then dive into the specific current challenges you're facing, as well as exploring historical information, to provide me with a picture of your life experiences. This will help me create a individualized plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing clients.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a pillar of psychological change. It encourages clients to explore how their thoughts and behaviors are intertwined, while challenging clients to change those thoughts and behaviors.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT is an amazing skill that can help clients receive results in session. It focuses on building realistic solutions that can implemented immediately.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivation Interviewing is a great technique to help engage clients in sessions. It encourages clients to understand their own thoughts and feelings, while creating client autonomy in the work we do together.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is an incredible skill to learn, that can help manage difficult feelings and situations. My favorite part of mindfulness is helping my clients find a tool that is is easy to use and engaging.

Humanistic

I enjoy incorporating the Humanistic approach because is consider the whole person, especially their positive characteristics and potential for growth!
