Psychiatric-mental health Nurse Practitioner Sandrine Motokwa Ntsang holds a board certification. She received her MSN in Psychiatric-Mental Health NP from Walden University in January 2023. She worked as an intensive care unit nurse for three years before obtaining her master's degree. She obtained her BSN in nursing in 2010 in Varese, Italy, and worked as a nurse in many specialties, including neurosurgery, psychiatry, geriatric, home health, and wound care. She was born and raised in Cameroon. She emigrated to Italy in 2007; after studying, she moved to the US in 2013. She enjoys spending time with her spouse and their four children, with whom she resides. As a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), I have distinct abilities and qualities that can be very helpful when treating patients with mental health conditions. In addition, I have the education and expertise necessary to offer patients medical and oncological Nursing assistance. As a PMHNP, I am eager to take advantage of a fresh opportunity to expand my nursing practice in psychiatric-mental health. My background makes me well-suited to care for patients with mental health concerns. I recognize the value of coordinating care with other experts, such as doctors and psychologists, to address all patient needs. I am dedicated to providing individualized patient care, making me the perfect candidate to look after those with mental health concerns. I like bicycling, reading, or watching movies outside when not caring for patients or learning new skills. I am confident that my patients will always get the most significant treatment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, patients expect relief as they understand the mechanism of their condition that leads to the diagnosis. They participate in the choice of their treatment plan. They should expect to be seen in two weeks for eventual evaluation of side effects.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my biggest strengths is actively listening to the patient whenever I see them. I explore their life outside of why they ask for help and collaborate with them on their treatment choice by considering what will help them achieve the mental stability they seek. I do not usually give up until I see some relief.
