Hi there, I am Carlos. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and mental health? Do you find it difficult to make time for yourself to heal? I help people to effectively navigate through different life challenges. Together, we can get you back on track to living a healthier life. While most counselors have degrees in counseling, my degree is in Clinical Psychology. This means that I also specialize in human development, health, clinical issues, social behavior, and cognitive processes. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. It takes courage to seek assistance with addressing personal issues and taking the first steps towards making a change. If you are ready to take that first step, I am here to support and assist you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will have brief introductions. Clients can expect a down to earth counselor who will help them understand why they feel the way they do and that will help them formulate a plan to help them feel better.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are empowering people to work through their symptoms of anxiety, depression, personal relationships, and employment issues. Whether it be social anxiety, generalized anxiety, or any other area that I specialize in, I help people discover the root cause of the problem so they have a greater understanding of how the problems began and so they know what areas we need to work through. Then we agree upon the path to work towards the solutions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients to learn CBT skills to help them regulate their thoughts and emotions. This helps them to take a step back, to better understand themselves, and the people around them.
