Welcome! I am a seasoned Christian Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a great deal of medical, psychiatric background and life experience. I am from New Hampshire and reside now in Florida part-time. I am licensed in Multiple states around our beautiful United States. Currently in New Jersey, New Hampshire and Florida. I love, love what I do and the patients that I serve. I am a woman of faith (love the Lord) and a believer, and help patients through life's challenges with therapy, spiritual guidance, and medications, if needed. That does not always mean giving patients what they want but what they need, to have optimal functioning of their mental health, physical health, spiritual health, and social needs. I believe less medication is better and starting low and slow, if it is needed. I recommend patients seek therapy for specific issues in their lives. I have a profound sense of humor and believe that it is important to be kind to ourselves as we traverse this journey of life. I do not judge, as none of us are free from a history and I believe we do what we know, at the time of each event. I believe humans can flourish if all the above functions are in balance. Perfect? No! Openness and honesty are my guides. My specialties are Mood disorders, Attention Deficit, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Sleep management issues and Spiritual counseling. I do not specialize specifically in gender issues and LBGQ life choices and recommend my patients seek prescribers educated to their specific needs. I am in a long-term relationship with my Dachshund named Sammy and a Beagle named Mr. Cooper and our new edition, Ella Blue a Bully American. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Fun, open, caring and reviewing challenges and goals. I will explore how to better understand your thought process and how they affect your life and daily functioning. I will ask about physical issues, challenges and spiritual life. My methods are CBT, DBT, EBP prescribing, Minimal benzodiazepines, if any and healthy boundaries, Humor, and a great deal of teaching to address lifestyle challenges that impair optimal spiritual and mental health.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I love what I do! I have many patients already and they are able to contact me and not be thwarted by someone else at the helm. I enjoy understanding WHY patients are symptomatic and finding optimal communications, therapy and medications that can enhance good mental health.
