I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in California and Nevada. I specialize in trauma-focused evidence-based treatment, including work with survivors of violent crime and community violence, and I am EMDR trained. I have over a decade of experience providing crisis intervention and mental health treatment across outpatient clinics, emergency departments, inpatient hospital settings, and private practice. I work with individuals experiencing trauma-related concerns, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health challenges. My background includes supporting military Veterans, first responders, teens, and adults navigating high-conflict co-parenting, blended families, and major life transitions. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and centered on helping clients build stability, resilience, and a better quality of life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you, understand your goals for therapy, and answer any questions you have about my approach. I aim to create a flexible, supportive environment while we review your intake information, explore your history and current needs, and begin developing a plan that feels right for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My strength as a therapist is meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels right for you. I support clients in identifying and processing past and present stressors, trauma, and barriers to stability, with the goal of improving quality of life. I believe therapy is a supportive tool for managing daily stress, healing from trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and navigating grief and loss so you can move toward your personal goals.
