Greetings, I'm Sonya Do you sometimes feel you lost your sense of self? On a journey but not sure which turn to make? Feeling anxious, confused, sad, angry? Having great friends, watching self-help Tik Toc segments but still not feeling ok? I have a calm and accepting presence that allows me to be relatable and build rapport with my clients. I provide a space where there in no judgement, an environment of calmness and peace so that clients feel supported and heard. Together we will evaluate and process situations that are impacting your life. I will empower you to develop and implement strategies that can be beneficial in all aspects of your life. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to walk away from sessions with the confidence that they are on the right path to healing. It is my hope that clients will recognize that together we will navigate through any situations and find healthy solutions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

While there are various approaches to therapy, I firmly believe it is not a one size fits all approach. Each individiual is unique in their own way. It is my goal to work in synergy as you modify or create your journey. I utilize a combination of treatment paths that include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered and mindfullness techniques. These approaches I believe are beneficial with empowering individuals to reach their goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a passion for working with individuals that struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, ADHD, and relationship issues. I have also provided group and individual therapy with teens struggling with anger, anxiety and self-discovery.
