I have spent the majority of my professional career in a military environment and consider it an honor to have helped individuals with significant trauma, depression, anxiety, and overall life stress. The integration of physical and behavioral health is the epitome of why I entered the mental health field. My approach helps bridge a gap that isn't often addressed in healing. I also strongly believe that financial hardships should not be a barrier to access mental health. Therefore, if this is something that prevents making an appointment, lets have a conversation. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our initial meeting will be unique to all proceeding sessions. After going through basic and legal house-keeping agenda items, I will ask questions to gather brief snap shots of different areas in your life so we can establish if our work together will be a good fit and develop a plan to help you achieve your purposes for coming to therapy. I do not expect, (nor suggest) getting into anything "too deep" during the intake process as the purpose is mostly gathering a history. Our first follow up will allow us to spend more time diving into the areas that are effecting you the most.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have always thought my biggest strength was connecting with other people, regardless of the situation. Everyone has a story and being able to connect to that has expanded my curiosity and strengthen my understanding of these experiences from their perspective.

I believe there is no single approach to therapy that works for everyone, which is why I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs. I provide a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space for you to explore the reasons you feel stuck, and I will always give you honest feedback.

Hypnotherapy

I believe the connection to our subconscious mind is a powerful force, and by finding our inner wisdom through hypnotherapy, we are able address emotional, physical and mental ‘imprints’ from throughout our lives- ultimately leading to deeper healing, and a more balanced, fulfilling life. I believe that hypnotherapy provides a safe and comfortable space to gain valuable insight, break out of unhealthy physical or mental patterns, address anxieties and depression, and find freedom from insomnia, pain and addictions to name a few
