Hi, I’m Taeja. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to figure things out alone, and I’d love to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s ups and downs. I bring experience from working in child welfare, medical social work, school settings, and forensic interviews, which has given me a deep understanding of how life’s challenges can show up in different ways. Whether you’re working through tough moments or simply wanting to grow and feel more grounded, this is a place for healing, reflection, and building on your strengths. Together, we’ll sort through the hard stuff, celebrate your wins, and work toward the life you’ve been hoping for.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what you’d like to gain from therapy. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your life and experiences, and I’ll also share a bit about my background and approach. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions so we can make sure we’re a good fit and on the same page moving forward.
My approach is collaborative, goal-focused, and supportive. I’m honest and straightforward in my feedback, and together we’ll set clear intentions, explore what matters most to you, and find practical ways to care for your mind, body, and overall well-being. I’ll encourage self-reflection, self-care, and building a positive mindset while helping you navigate challenges as opportunities for growth. Therapy with me is about creating space for healing, balance, and discovering a stronger sense of purpose in your life.
My ideal clients are individuals who are open to self-reflection, motivated to create meaningful change, and optimistic about their personal growth and future. I work best with those who value collaboration in the therapeutic process and are ready to take active steps toward healing and achieving their goals.

Taeja is an excellent therapist! We were able to set expectations and goals together during my first session. She empowers me to grow through reflection prompts that I can do outside of our sessions and then come back and go through together. She listens compassionately and has helped me tremendously in mental health journey :)

Talking to Taeja is like talking to a friend; she's very open minded, will listen to you rant, and then pick up on things that you didn't even notice. Throughout all of it, there's no judgement. I leave all of my conversations feeling heard, my feelings validated, and possible solutions to try. My favorite thing is that she doesn't think her way of doing things is the only way, and the possible solutions MATCH the conversation you're having with her. It's not generic, overused cliche's.

Taeja attentively listens to me but her feedback also captures what I’m not saying. She picks up on clues, even virtually, she sees my body language and gives applicable advice. I appreciate her candor and her thoughtfulness when providing feedback and guidance. She’s perfect for me in this time of my life.
Each of us are different and our needs vary. I utilize an eclectic approach, combining different therapeutic techniques to enhance treatment and achieve successful outcomes. Some of my favorite techniques are CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness & Motivational Interviewing. Approaching each session from a supportive, person-centered and trauma informed perspective is my motto.
