PMHNP, 7 years of experience
Welcome. I'm Augustina Nyeche As your Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I am a specialized healthcare provider dedicated to diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. I work with individuals across the lifespan to develop personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication management, and lifestyle adjustments. My goal is to support clients in achieving optimal mental health, overall well-being and help you lead a fulfilling, balanced life, through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we will begin by discussing your current concerns and mental health history in your first session with me. We will explore your symptoms, medical background, and any previous treatments you have tried. This initial session is a time for me to get to know you and understand your unique situation, as well as for you to ask any questions you may have. Together, we will start to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs, which may include therapy, medication, or other strategies to support your mental well-being.

Collaborative Care: I work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring that their preferences and goals are central to the care process. 4. Strong Communication Skills: I prioritize clear and open communication, making sure clients understand their treatment options and feel comfortable discussing their concerns. 5. Expertise in Medication Management: I have extensive knowledge in psychopharmacology, allowing me to effectively manage and adjust medications to optimize mental health outcomes. These strengths enable me to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and effective mental health care tailored to each client's unique needs.

It combines cognitive and behavioral techniques to help individuals manage a wide range of mental health conditions. Cognitive Restructuring, Behavioral Activation, Exposure Therapy, Skill Training, Monitoring and Homework.
