My treatment methods

Supportive

Supportive therapy helps clients address their emotional difficulties and life challenges. I encourage clients to discuss their feelings or concerns in a nonjudgmental, safe, and respectful environment.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing will be utilized to establish common ground with the client, setting the stage for shared decision-making. Mindfulness will be incorporated to express empathy, while dialectical methods will encourage self-efficacy, allowing us to explore treatment options together and make informed decisions. The goal of these therapeutic approaches is to reduce or resolve symptoms of depression and anxiety. The feedback on motivational interviewing has been positive.
