About me

Hi there! For the past three years, I’ve had the honor of sitting with people through their real-life ups and downs, helping them build confidence, heal, and feel more connected to themselves. I’m a therapist who keeps it real: open, genuine, and never judgmental. You can talk to me about anything, and my priority is always to make sure you feel comfortable, understood, and never rushed. We’ll go at your pace, together. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, overthinking, self-doubt, grief, family dynamics, identity questions, and LGBTQ+ support. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative, we’re a team.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and start building a comfortable space for you to share what brings you to therapy. I will ask some questions to learn more about your background, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This helps me understand how to best support you and meet you where you are. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. Our goal is simply to start exploring together and create a plan that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes my approach stand out is that it is completely personalized to each person I work with. I take the time to understand what feels most comfortable and effective for you, and I tailor our sessions to fit your needs and goals. My style is warm, open, and nonjudgmental, and I always move at your pace. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership, where you feel supported, heard, and empowered to make progress in a way that feels natural and meaningful to you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I don’t believe therapy should ever feel cold, clinical, or “one-size-fits-all.” Every person has their own story, and I’m here to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re a teen finding your identity, a young adult navigating stress and uncertainty, or an adult facing life change, you deserve support that truly fits you. You’re the expert in your life, and my role is to walk beside you helping you access tools, insights, and self-compassion to become the best version of yourself. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a space designed specifically for your story, your pace, and your goals. Let’s find what works for you, together.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my sessions to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and find new, more compassionate ways of thinking that support change and growth. I like to keep CBT practical and personal, it’s not about homework or perfection, but about noticing what’s working and what’s not in everyday life. I guide clients to develop coping tools they can actually use outside of session, whether it’s to manage anxiety, challenge self-doubt, or improve relationships. My goal is to make the process feel collaborative, encouraging, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and pace.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients create more space for their emotions and focus on living in alignment with what truly matters to them. In session, I guide clients to notice, accept, and move through stressful experiences with more compassion. Together, we practice mindfulness, grounding, and values-based strategies that help clients stay present and take meaningful action, even when life feels heavy or uncertain. My approach with ACT is gentle and empowering, it’s about helping clients reconnect with their sense of purpose and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling, one step at a time.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Here’s the DBT paragraph rewritten without any em dashes: --- I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients find balance between accepting themselves as they are and working toward meaningful change. In session, we focus on building practical skills to manage emotions, improve relationships, and handle stress in healthier ways. I guide clients through mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and communication tools that fit their real-life experiences. My approach is compassionate and nonjudgmental. DBT is not about fixing yourself, but about learning to understand and care for your emotions while gaining confidence in how you respond to life’s challenges. Together, we work on creating calm, balance, and a stronger sense of control in daily life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. My goal is to provide an environment built on empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard so clients can explore their thoughts and emotions safely. In session, I focus on listening deeply, reflecting feelings, and helping clients connect with their own inner wisdom and strengths. I believe that healing and growth happen naturally when people feel supported and understood, so I work to meet each client exactly where they are and move at their own pace. This approach helps clients build self-trust, self-compassion, and confidence in making positive changes in their lives.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their own motivations and build confidence in making changes that feel right for them. In session, I take a collaborative and nonjudgmental approach, guiding clients to reflect on what truly matters to them and what might be getting in the way. Together, we look at ambivalence or uncertainty with curiosity rather than pressure, allowing clients to find their own reasons for growth. I focus on asking open questions, affirming strengths, and highlighting progress so clients feel empowered and supported as they move toward their goals. My goal is to create a space that feels encouraging and hopeful, where change feels both possible and self-driven.
