Hello, thank you so much for considering me to join you on your journey towards choosing yourself first. I am honored to be your therapist. I am a LMFT. I speak English and Spanish fluently and have a culturally sensitive approach to counseling. I specialize in relationships and understanding underlying patterns unseen on daily interactions. I work with couples, children and parents in discovering new tools to manage current demands and stressors, and help my clients live their potential and best self. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Central University of Venezuela (Universidad Central de Venezuela), where I graduated with honors, and received my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University (NSU).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will introduce ourselves and will go over the specific circumstances you are facing. In a "get to know me" type of situation we will explore contextual, interpersonal and internal variables. We then will tailor a treatment plan according to the goals we wish to accomplish at our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I took into account individual and contextual variables and come up with solutions in a collaborative manner with my clients. My systemic and holistic view allows me to see beyond the content to reflect back uncovered patterns. Feel free to contact me at 954-5262558 to set up a free phone consultation.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Through thus method we look for tangible goals and solutions we can achieve, so clients are able to measure and track progress in their journey

With narrative therapy, we look for ways to reframe our problems and issues, understanding the impact of culture and external sources of information into our mental schema and how we view life

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that began with efforts to treat personality disorders and interpersonal conflicts. Evidence suggests that DBT can be useful in treating mood disorders and suicidal ideation as well as for changing behavioral patterns such as self-harm and substance use.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is a unique type of humanistic talk therapy based on the assumption that everyone has a natural inclination to fulfill their potential using their strengths and motivation.
