Hello and welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. With over 14 years of experience guiding individuals towards healing, self-discovery, and wholeness, I specialize in helping individuals find peace within themselves. Together, we can embark on a journey of self-acceptance, courage, and growth. If you're ready to reclaim your power, embrace vulnerability, and align with your purpose, I encourage you to reach out.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In a first therapy session, we create a safe space for you to share. We discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and any relevant background information. I may ask about your personal history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Additionally, we explore how therapy can help you align with your purpose and values. Together, we begin to outline a plan and discuss potential therapeutic approaches.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In therapy, I offer a down-to-earth, non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, fears, and dreams at your own pace. There's no pressure to be perfect; just an opportunity to uncover the truly remarkable person you are. With expertise in trauma healing, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, I am deeply committed to helping you reconnect with your sense of purpose, rediscover your inner strength, and learn to love yourself wholeheartedly.

My treatment methods

Integrative

As an integrative therapist, I combine strategies from different therapeutic models like cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches. I tailor my approach to suit your individual needs, utilizing diverse tools to address various issues and promote holistic healing and personal growth.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

With Internal Family Systems (IFS), we kind of see the mind as this big family with lots of different characters. As your therapist, I'll help you get to know these different parts of yourself - like the bossy one, the scared one, the wise one - and understand what they have to say. This helps you understand yourself better, work through current problems, and find more balance and peace within yourself.

Strength-Based

A strengths-based approach basically means we focus on your existing strengths and abilities rather than just the problems you're facing. We'll explore what you're good at, what makes you unique, and how you've overcome challenges in the past. By shining a light on your strengths, we can build on them to tackle whatever's troubling you now. It's all about empowering you to realize your potential and find solutions from within yourself.
