Welcome! My name is Stephanie Falzone and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. You are taking a step towards taking care of YOU!!! Finding a therapist to partner with you is an important part of the process. Whether you are seeking mental health or sport performance counseling, you are in the right place. I am motived to empower clients to achieve their goals and to improve their overall quality of life through a variety of evidence-based techniques. Working side-by-side we will identify your goals and values, needs and strengths. Let's get started.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first few sessions will involve an evaluation of needs in order to offer insight on what our work together will include. Open communication is encouraged and if you have questions about procedures, please ask questions as they arise.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I worked in the mental health field in a variety of capacities over my career. As a therapist I believe that creating an authentic environment where open communication and honesty are valued is important and beneficial to the therapeutic process. We will enjoy a relationship that creates opportunity for change, challenges your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and leaves space for learning and growing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

On the foundation of an authentic and genuine relationship between client and therapist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a helpful tool to understand inaccurate or negative thinking and how it impacts thoughts and behaviors. By identifying and challenging these thoughts, it helps the client view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Listening and letting go of internal thoughts, identifying stress held throughout the body, and focused breathing allows clients to intentionally create a sense of calm when dealing with stress and anxiety.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and commitment therapy seeks to notice and accept events, infuses mindfulness techniques, and increases mental flexibility. ACT will help to separate the unpleasant thoughts, feelings, and memories the mind produces from self.
