Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Georgia. I received my Master's from Mercer University in 2017 and have been working in this field for 7 years. I help women from all walks of life find their purpose, improve their self-worth, and learn how to cope with various issues. I am committed to meeting my clients where they are and helping them get a different perspective on their life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will work on getting to know each other and building our therapeutic relationship. Then, we will discuss the issues that brought you to therapy and work with you to formulate a treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I pride myself in being able to tailor my sessions to meet my client's needs. If you need structure, complete with homework assignments and activities, that's what we'll do. Alternatively, if you prefer to use your time to process (out loud) your life and the issues that are plaguing you, then we'll do that.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of my main treatment modalities. I use it to help my clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. Through structured sessions, I teach clients practical skills to cope with and manage their emotions thoughts and behaviors. We also work together to find ways to promote self-awareness and empowerment.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients accept their thoughts and feelings rather than trying to control them, Through mindfulness techniques and exercises, I guide them to clarify their values and commit to actions aligned with those values, even in the presence of difficult emotions.

Motivational Interviewing

I've used motivational interviewing for years with client because I've noticed that everyone has their own level of desire to change. Using motivational interviewing, I help clients explore and resolve ambivalence towards change by fostering a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic relationship. Through reflective listening and open-ended questions, I try to awaken client's intrinsic motivation for change, emphasizing empathy, collaboration, and acceptance.
