As a therapist, I work with individuals of all genders, couples, and teens starting at age 15. While I specialize in supporting women in their 20s and 30s, I also work closely with adolescents navigating the unique challenges of teenage life—including identity development, academic pressure, social dynamics, family conflict, and the emotional ups and downs that come with growing up. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where teens can feel heard and equipped to handle the complexities of this transitional stage. Across all age groups, I’ve observed a common thread: the relentless pressure to excel, meet expectations, and maintain a sense of control. This often leads to self-doubt, burnout, and emotional overwhelm—issues that deserve care, attention, and validation. Whether you’re facing a major life transition—like starting college, beginning a new career, navigating relationships, or becoming a parent—or simply feeling uncertain about your direction, you’re not alone. I invite you to reach out and begin a conversation where we can explore your experiences and work toward clarity, connection, and balance.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and expectations, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I’ve crafted a reliable approach to help you (a) uncover the underlying causes of your challenges and (b) develop a customized plan that ensures tangible progress.
I’m best positioned to support individuals, couples, and teens (15+) who are navigating life transitions, experiencing anxiety, or feeling stuck in patterns of self-doubt, burnout, or people-pleasing. Many of my clients are motivated for change but feel overwhelmed by pressure to meet others’ expectations or unsure of how to prioritize their own needs and goals. I work well with clients who are ready to reflect, grow, and build healthier relationships—with themselves and others. Whether you're exploring your identity, setting boundaries, processing a recent transition, or wanting to improve communication and emotional connection, I offer a collaborative, nonjudgmental space to support your goals and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, which involves integrating various therapeutic methods and techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs. In my practice, I combine elements from different therapies—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic approaches, and mindfulness practices—to address diverse issues effectively. Using an eclectic approach allows me to adapt my methods based on what works best for each individual. For example, if a client is struggling with anxiety, I might use CBT to address negative thought patterns while incorporating mindfulness techniques to help them manage stress. If someone is dealing with deeper emotional issues, I might integrate psychodynamic methods to explore underlying causes and improve self-awareness. This flexibility ensures that therapy is personalized and dynamic, offering clients a range of tools and strategies to navigate their challenges and achieve their goals. ****I have availability for intro sessions but please keep in mind that consistent weekly sessions will not begin until July***
