New to Grow
My fundamental belief is that every individual is worthy and deserving of living a fulfilling life aligned with their desires. With over three decades of experience as a Clinical Psychologist in Mexico and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, my dedication has been guiding individuals through the process of healing and recovery from trauma, one person at a time.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session focuses on introduction, getting to know your story, setting goals and expectations for our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Trauma, often occurring in the blink of an eye, reshapes our existence irrevocably. These unforeseen events profoundly affect our lives, hindering our ability to create, experience joy, and follow our purpose. My lifelong aspiration has been to empower clients to navigate the aftermath of such adversities, helping them reclaim their lives and rewrite their narratives. I use EMDR, Brainspotting, Hypnosis, KAP among other techniques to help my clients process traumatic events.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with clients who are ready to work on themselves with honesty, courage, and commitment.
EMDR
One of the tools I use is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a powerful method for processing and healing distress caused from traumatic memories.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a relatively new brain-body alternative therapy that uses eye positioning to process difficult emotions and unresolved traumatic experiences.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a guided therapeutic technique using intense concentration and deep relaxation to induce a trance-like state, increasing suggestibility to address habits, emotional issues, or physical pain.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a set of principles and techniques aimed at enhancing self-awareness, increasing confidence, building communication skills, and motivating positive social actions.
Trauma Informed Care
TIC is a strengths-based approach that shifts the question from “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?” It recognizes the lasting impact of trauma and responds with care that prioritizes safety, trust, empowerment, and healing—while actively working to prevent re-traumatization.
