I am a licensed mental health counselor and Florida native. I have training in behavior modification, family therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and developmental psychology. I work with individuals as young as 6 years old through adulthood. I strive to provide the most meaningful and effective clinical interventions to address client needs. It can be incredibly difficult to reach out for help and be vulnerable with a stranger. I hope to be able to take this journey with you and/or your loved one. At this time, I am offering telehealth (virtual appointments) and in-person sessions with flexible scheduling. Please reach out to schedule your intake.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal and hope in working together is two-fold. On the short term, I'd like to help you to get some relief and to ease some of the symptoms you or your child are currently experiencing. On the longer term, I hope that we can get to the bottom of the feelings, concerns and dilemmas that led you/ your child to counseling. I understand that this process this may be new and difficult. You have done the first (and most important) step of reaching out for help. Together we will keep taking one step at a time, in a pace that you feel comfortable with.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Individual treatment takes many forms–including non-directive play experiences, structured psychoeducational experiences, creative experiences using the arts, direct problem-solving and dialogue.

Regardless of the method of intervention, I aim to create both a trusting relationship and a comfortable environment so that healing can begin.
