New to Grow
Hello and thank you for considering me as a partner on your healing journey. Here is a bit about me: My foundational training grounded in holistic health, mindfulness, and somatic experiencing. I work with individuals seeking healing and growth through a whole-person approach. As a holistic health practitioner, I am grounded in looking at the whole of a person: body, mind, and spirit approach to healing and recovery. My hope is that I can help clients discover that with support, you may reach your own unique highest potential and achieve your goals.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I am interested in cultivating trust to create the possibility of hope and positive changes. When trust and hope exist, then healing and stability may begin. Healing in conjunction with client-centered goals and supportive services opens the door to creating a positive path forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines holistic, humanistic, and compassionate acceptance and commitment centered therapy approaches. I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges, including those who have experienced trauma and emotional abuse. I also work with youth and teens presenting with neurodivergent needs, behavioral issues, ADHD, complex trauma, and developing mood disorders.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have had the opportunity to gain the trust of clients and their families who, at times, face immense challenges. Many elements must be considered to create a viable and realistic plan for each person to reach their goals. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
Compassion Focused
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) helps with anxiety or depression by teaching us to develop a kinder, more supportive inner voice. Compassion-Focused Therapy focuses on reducing self-criticism and shame by cultivating compassion for oneself and others.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) supports us by helping us use mindfulness to reconnect with what truly matters to us. ACT helps us build a life that feels purposeful even in the presence of emotional discomfort.
EMDR
EMDR therapy supports trauma, anxiety, and depression by helping to reprocess distressing memories. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR allows the brain to reframe past experiences so they feel less overwhelming and emotionally charged. As these memories are integrated more adaptively, we often experience reduced anxiety, fewer intrusive thoughts, and a greater sense of calmness.
Positive Psychology
Positive psychology focus on strengths, resilience, and sources of meaning rather than solely on symptoms. It uses practices like gratitude exercises, identifying personal strengths, and cultivating positive experiences to broaden emotional coping and enhance well-being. By building optimism, connection, and a sense of purpose, we feel more empowered and balanced in our daily lives.
Somatic
Somatic techniques such as grounding, breathwork, movement, and body awareness, we may learn to notice how our bodies hold tension or shutdown responses. By releasing stored stress and building a felt sense of safety, somatic therapy can reduce overwhelm, improve emotional regulation, and promote a more integrated mind–body experience.
