My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have utilized CBT with various populations. CBT includes identifying one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are dysfunctional. In therapy, we work to change those negative thought processes to positive thoughts.

Strength-Based

In strength-based therapy, the focus is on the problems and deficits of the client. As the therapist, I help to identify my clients' strengths or deficits, and we work together to bring out the client's resilience to foster client's growth.

Interpersonal

Interpersonal therapy helps clients understand their emotions and social signals which they can use to understand and improve interpersonal situations in their lives.
