My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I am trained and endorsed in Infant Mental Health in Michigan. An attachment-based approach to therapy looks at the connection between an infant’s early attachment experiences with primary caregivers, usually with parents, and the infant’s ability to develop normally and ultimately form healthy emotional and physical relationships as an adult. Attachment-based therapy aims to build or rebuild a trusting, supportive relationship that will help prevent or treat mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). CPP is a modality for children birth to 5 years old. CPP Supports family strengths and relationships. Helps families heal and grow after stressful experiences, while respecting family and cultural values. CPP can improve parent and children's moods as well as decrease behaviors and trauma symptoms.
