Hello! My name is Elizabeth Muñoz. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering tele-health services to individuals above the age of 18. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC). I have been practicing for 7 years. My services are available in both English and Spanish. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, and life adjustments.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend the majority of our time talking about how you have been feeling recently, and me asking questions to better understand why you may be feeling that way. The first session is about us building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of where we should go from there. Each individual is different and I like to listen first before assuming I know what will work best for you moving forward.

I believe that seeking support is a sign of strength, and I am here to help you navigate through life's challenges. As your therapist, I will evaluate your needs and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to help you cope with various life challenges, all while providing a compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to heal and grow. My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment and my clients feeling connected to me.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT for the past five years. It’s helped my clients challenge thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll implement CBT to explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected to each other. We’ll then use that to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious, depressed and stressed life.
