Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana. I received my Master's Degree from Liberty University in 2011. I have been practicing for ten years. I strive to create a safe and loving environment free from any judgment to help bring healing. I believe in looking at the whole person recognizing that each individual and family is unique. I work to be creative in my interventions and empower clients to find their voice.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will get to know each other. We will discuss the specific challenges that you are facing. This will help us to identify the goals that are most important to you for us to meet. After that first session, I will create a plan of how we can make those goals become reality.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with clients for over ten years, I have learned what works best and what doesn't. I believe that no two people are the same and that treatment must be tailored to each individual to be effective. I am flexible and if something isn't working I make adjustments rather than trying to force something that won't bring about the change that you desperately are needing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the over ten years. It’s helped hundreds of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I’ve been using Trauma-Focused CBT in my practice for the past eight years. It’s helped dozens of clients process their past trauma and lead to healing. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your trauma has impacted your life and the steps needed to help you lead the life you want to live.

EMDR

I’ve been using EMDR in my practice for the past three years. It’s helped dozens of clients reduce anxiety, depression, and process trauma in a healthy manner.
