I offer a safe and supportive space for adults (18+) experiencing a range of challenges, from everyday stressors to acute crises, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, OCD, grief, stress, Self-harm and navigating major life changes. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I work to empower adults to cultivate self-awareness and personal growth as they navigate life's complexities.
In our first session we will take time to get to know each other and you will get the opportunity to talk to me about what your goals are with engaging in therapy. My hope is to gain insight into your needs to meet you where you are.
My objective is to utilize a person-centered and strength-based approach to help you know yourself better, respecting your individuality and preferences. I recognize that life is fluid and ever-changing, and I aim to provide support that moves with you along your journey.
I work well with individuals who are motivated to change but may not be sure where to start. More often than not, the client already has a general idea of where they want to be with their mental health. Sometimes a little bit of direction is all that is needed
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower clients to identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. I provide a supportive and collaborative environment to help individuals develop healthier coping mechanisms and achieve lasting positive change."
"My practice incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a comprehensive approach that emphasizes acceptance and change. I work collaboratively with clients to build skills for managing difficult emotions, reducing impulsive behaviors, and improving overall well-being."
As a therapist, I prioritize psychoeducation, ensuring clients have a solid understanding of their diagnosis, treatment options, and coping mechanisms. This knowledge empowers them to actively participate in their recovery journey and achieve their therapeutic goals."
"I am passionate about helping individuals with OCD find relief through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy. I provide a supportive and encouraging environment where clients can safely confront their fears and learn to resist compulsions, ultimately achieving greater freedom and improved quality of life."
