Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from National University and have been practicing for 10 years. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with managing their mental health. I am here to provide a safe and calming space to support my patients in becoming a better version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us develop goals and objectives for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

For me the greatest attributes are being a good/active listener, holding each client in unconditional regard, and being respectful of each individuals healing process.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I assist patients identify and challenge negative thoughts, and learn practical strategies to improve their quality of life. I will help them in the present rather than the past and assist in improving their daily mindset.

EMDR

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (or EMDR for short) is a type of therapy that will help patients feel better after stressful or traumatic experiences. It can help patients work through big emotions (worry, sadness, anger, fear, as well as any unhelpful thoughts or memories he/she/they can't seem to get out of their mind. It will also help patients process uncomfortable body sensations, like feeling shaky, having a funny feeling in their stomach, or feeling hot in certain parts of their body.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person Centered therapy will focus on the care on the needs of my patient. "You will be holding the steering wheel." I provide a safe and calm therapeutic space to help the patient work through difficult emotions, life transitions, incidents, traumas, etc.
