LCSW, 4 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Dr. Roberte J. Souverin, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Social Work. I provide a safe and supportive space for youth and adults to heal, grow, and find balance. My approach is holistic, faith-based, and person-centered, integrating evidence-based practices like CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Grounded in my Christian faith, I believe healing happens when mind, body, and spirit are in alignment. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, or just seeking peace and clarity, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward wholeness.
In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can simply be yourself. We’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and begin setting goals together. I’ll also share how I work so you feel comfortable and know what to expect moving forward. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and at ease—not rushed or pressured. Whether you’re seeking emotional healing, personal growth, or a deeper spiritual connection, we’ll work together to create a plan that meets you where you are and guides you toward peace and clarity.
What distinguishes my therapeutic approach is the integration of evidence-based practices with a compassionate, client-centered focus. I utilize methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support clients in developing insight, resilience, and sustainable coping strategies. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment that fosters self-awareness, personal growth, and meaningful change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and faith-centered. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership—where you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build coping skills, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and create meaningful change. I also integrate Christian principles for clients who desire a spiritual lens in their healing journey. Whether we’re working through anxiety, self-esteem, or life transitions, my goal is to help you find peace, clarity, and strength—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
I use CBT to help clients recognize and challenge negative thought patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and make practical behavior changes. It’s effective because it teaches clients to manage their thoughts and emotions in real time.
I use faith-based therapy to integrate clients’ spiritual beliefs into the healing process, helping them find strength, purpose, and guidance through their faith while addressing emotional and mental health needs.
I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients stay present, manage stress, and regulate emotions by increasing awareness of their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
I use motivational interviewing to help clients explore their ambivalence, build intrinsic motivation, and strengthen their commitment to making positive changes.
