Establishing S.M.A.R.T Goals. b. 45 min sessions weekly until the client determines readiness to step down to a lower level of care. c. 1- 2 check-ins via messaging between sessions. d. Homework Assignments including assessments and worksheets. e. The Benefits of Journaling. f. Evaluating your Progress towards goals. Ask where would the client like to start. Develop a plan for the next session.
My strengths as a provider include my communication style is Supporter/Relater: I am empathetic, compassionate, calm, cool, and collected. I purposefully work to avoid unnecessary conflicts. I am happiest when everyone is getting along, and I can be found to be the person who puts herself last if it means peace and harmony are the end result. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own pain and challenges in life. After I worked to receive my own healing, wholeness and wrote my story of survival, I began to develop empathy and compassion for other people who were hurting. Now, I consider myself as a healed healer moved to help others by instilling hope for a better future.
