Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Florida, and I hold a Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University. With seven years of experience in the field, I specialize in supporting adults grappling with career stress and burnout, guiding them on a journey to become the best versions of themselves. Additionally, I work closely with clients navigating significant life changes, such as the transformative experiences of parenthood, the challenges of divorce, and the intricate process of grief. My approach is rooted in fostering personal growth and resilience, helping individuals navigate life's twists and turns with empathy and support.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you're facing. Together, we will create unique goals and strategies that address where you are today and the future you envision for yourself.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I provide therapy that is collaborative, evidence-based, strength-based, and effective. I will work with you to create an environment where you feel safe. I’ll help you explore what you’re thinking, feeling and experiencing to get to where you want to be. I will take my time to get to know you and I'd be honored to journey with you as you release what no longer serves you and embrace being the root of your own happiness.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Have you been feeling ungrounded, unsettled and unhappy with your current circumstances? Do you feel stuck in unwanted habits and behaviors that no longer serve you? Navigating through life transitions, challenges and stressors can be overwhelming but you don’t have to do it alone. You may notice you feel anxious, depressed or dissatisfied with the direction of your life. You may be struggling to figure out your next move or how to pick up the pieces of a life you no longer recognize. I work with clients experiencing similar things to you and when you're ready, we can have an honest conversation about it.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a clinician, I integrate evidenced based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques into my practice. CBT provides a structured and collaborative framework that allows clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, fostering healthier cognition and behavior. This approach aligns with my goal of empowering clients with practical tools to navigate challenges, promoting resilience, and facilitating lasting positive change. Ultimately, the goal is to equip clients with the skills to not only understand their experiences but also actively participate in their own growth and well-being.

Strength-Based

I also incorporate strength-based practices because I believe in emphasizing and building upon the inherent resilience and capabilities of each individual. By identifying and harnessing clients' strengths, skills, and positive qualities, we create a foundation for empowerment and growth.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) methods in my therapeutic approach because of its pragmatic and goal-oriented nature. SFBT allows me to collaborate with clients in identifying and amplifying their strengths and resources while focusing on solutions to address the challenges they may be facing.
