Greetings! I'm Lisette Fundora a dually Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC and LMHC) based out of Virginia and providing tele-health services in Florida. I received my Masters in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and have been practicing for 10 years. I have worked in half way houses, intensive outpatient (IOP), inpatient, outpatient (OP), detoxes, schools, and community centers. Having worked with children and adults alike, I enjoy helping others struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD to help you reach the best version of yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session I will tailor our session to the client and meeting you where you are. I like to gather information and learn about your goals for therapy to help us form a plan that we can work towards. I aim to create a safe and comfortable environment, where you feel free to be yourself, share freely, and always feel supported and encouraged.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Being a Navy veteran, I take pride in continuing to serve others while being aware of how difficult change can be. I am compassionate, energetic, and eager to work together to reach your goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT since beginning my work in therapy. CBT is one of my favorite treatment methods as we work to identify and challenge thinking patterns and its effect on feelings and behaviors. CBT can be used for depression, anxiety, OCD, stress and bipolar to name a few.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT is another treatment method that focuses primarily on the goal rather then the problem. In this short term counseling, we focus on the present and future rather than the past. This is perfect for clients looking for short term counseling and solutions utilizing your strengths.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person centered therapy is another approach I utilize that encourages the client to take the lead, advocate for themselves and a safe space to explore all emotions. This approach is centered around providing empathy and promoting growth.
