What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will first get to know each other and build rapport with one another. Soon after, I will review confidentiality and informed consent. Lastly, we will discuss the presenting problem and what your goals for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that I am able to connect with almost anyone on their level. I have a gift in being able to make clients feel welcomed with my warm presence and sense of humor.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

I have been using brainspotting for over a year and half. I utilize brainspotting to help facilitate the clientʻs internal healing process by having them look at a specific location. Looking at a specific location accessing what we call "a brainspot" . Accessing the brainspot allows for the individual to process at deeper levels thus bringing about true healing.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is a the core of my approach as a therapist. I use concepts such as, positive unconditional regard as a way to foster empathy and create an environment where the client feels safe and supported throughout the counseling process.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT techniques to help my clients establish healthier perspectives. I also use CBT to help my clients who are dealing with any internal conflict or ambivalence.
