Have you been struggling with a mental block that has been keeping you from reaching your goals or living according to your values? Are you tired of just surviving instead of living? It is possible for change and things to get better. My name is Sheryl, and I have a passion for helping others live a less restrictive lifestyle and gain a greater sense of fulfillment. I can help you process things of the past, tune in more to the present, and address your worries about the future. I can help you set healthy boundaries so you can live a balanced life and reach your goals. If you don’t have goals, I can help you figure them out! I have helped people overcome depression and anxiety in order to live more fulfilling lives, build healthy relationships, and repair strained relationships. I also have experience working with families who struggle with cultural and generational gaps. I like to promote fitness/exercise and mindfulness in my work. I truly believe in the mind and body connection, and like to incorporate a lot of mindfulness and body exercises into my practice. If any of these sound interesting then let’s work together!
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In the first session we will work together in identifying goals and figuring out what exactly would be the most helpful to you that we can work on together. The sessions after will increase your knowledge about the problems you’re experiencing, learning skills, and then putting skills into practice. We will then re-evaluate how things are going to determine if you’d like to switch gears or if you feel confident in managing on your own and are ready to “graduate” from therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Getting over the barriers of our worries and fears in order to live a life aligned with our values is what I specialize in. We can work together on leaning into the discomfort and expanding your horizon. I can help you change unhelpful habits and look at things in a more flexible angle.
