I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been providing counseling since 2015. I've worked with many different populations and specialize in working with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder. I feel honored to provide a safe, validating space for my clients to pursue positive change and a life worth living. My approach to therapy includes utilizing warmth and humor to help my clients feel heard and understood.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In my first session, I'm often asking a lot of questions to help me get to know you and understand how best to help you. I like to collaborate directly with my clients and discuss their personal goals and what they want to get out of therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I was inspired to become a therapist after going to therapy myself and realizing what a life-changing experience it can be. I have a lot of experience with evidence-based treatment methods like DBT and CBT, and I also consider it extremely important to provide a welcoming and warm space where my clients feel seen and understood.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I most often work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, PTSD or Borderline Personality Disorder. In addition to processing feelings and understanding underlying causes of issues, I also offer tangible tools and skills to help regulate emotions and improve your ability to cope with distress.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have used DBT as part of my practice since 2016. I have co-facilitated DBT skills groups in addition to providing one-on-one DBT skills training. I like to work directly with my clients to find out their individual needs and identify which DBT modules and skills fit best with what they are looking to get from therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I find CBT to be extremely helpful in managing anxiety, depression and OCD. I have incorporated CBT tools into my practice since 2016. I talk with my clients about how to identify and challenge distorted beliefs about themselves or the world that are contributing to their mental health symptoms.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I am a certified CPT provider and completed my CPT training in 2022. This treatment method is specifically for people struggling with PTSD. It's a time-limited (around 12 sessions total), evidence-based treatment that helps clients identify distorted beliefs stemming from their traumatic experience, challenge and reframe those thoughts and improve their overall functioning.
