Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am located in and licensed through Pennsylvania, with 8 years of experience. I help individuals of all ages who are seeking support, develop and move toward goals to improve their lives and increase joy. I hope that through working together you can achieve your individualized therapy goals and feel satisfied with your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will get to know each other a bit more and develop specific goals. We can explore your hopes for engaging in therapy and discuss how to move forward together. Deciding the structure of your sessions will help us to determine the most effective way for you to benefit from therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My experience has allowed me to have the ability to leave you with new skills and ideas to utilize outside of our sessions specific to situations that you may be struggling with. Through specific techniques I can assist you in addressing issues head on with confidence.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I received training for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy through the Behavioral Institute. My experience providing DBT has been through individual sessions utilizing a diary card, teaching skills classes, phone consultation and coaching, as well as DBT prolonged exposure.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

While utilizing CBT we will identify how thoughts, emotions, and actions connect. Through this practice we together can determine and problem solve how you can feel more in control of your emotions, thoughts and actions. This will assist you in moving toward individualized therapy goals.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

PCIT can help you find a new way to connect with your child and result in desired behavior changes in your child. If you are struggling with difficult behaviors from your child PCIT can help make changes to the dynamic in your relationship. PCIT will assist you through therapy play with your child and structured time out sequences. Support and accountability from a provider can help you make long term changes to help improve family dynamics.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy

Prolonged exposure therapy is used when you are struggling with PTSD and complex PTSD. Through imaginal exposure in session as well as exposure tasks between sessions you will address your symptoms of PTSD and over time reduce those symptoms and their intensity. This allows you to take back control of your life. This intensive treatment can be very effective in reducing symptoms like nightmares, flashbacks, and anxiety.
