Welcome to a space where your experiences are met with empathy, respect, and a nonjudgmental presence. As a licensed psychotherapist, I provide thoughtful, evidence-based care for individuals, couples, families, and groups navigating a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. My areas of specialization include Depression, Anxiety, and Couples Therapy, with a foundation in Gottman Method Couples Therapy—a research-based approach that helps partners improve communication, manage conflict, and rebuild trust. I also draw from a broad range of eclectic therapeutic practices tailored to meet each client's unique needs and goals. Whether you're seeking support through a difficult period, looking to deepen your relationships, or working toward personal growth, I offer a safe and compassionate environment where you can explore, unpack, and process your experiences—free from judgment. Together, we’ll work at your pace, in your voice, and toward the change that feels meaningful for you.
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll take the time to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and any important parts of your story that you’d like to share. You’re always in control of what you feel ready to talk about—there’s no pressure to open up more than you’re comfortable with. I’ll also ask some background questions to get a better understanding of your experiences, strengths, and challenges. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and how we can work toward them using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My goal for our first meeting is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and respected. By the end of the session, you should have a sense of what working together will feel like—and we’ll talk about next steps if you decide to continue. You don’t need to prepare anything special—just come as you are.
As a therapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported just as they are. I integrate both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to offer a balanced approach that helps clients understand the “why” behind their patterns while also focusing on practical steps forward. What makes me unique is my intuitive and compassionate presence—I meet clients where they are, honor their lived experiences, and help them reconnect with their strengths, values, and capacity for change. My clients often tell me they feel safe, empowered, and deeply understood in our work together.
I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are uncertain but ready and willing to do the work to solve the solvable problems and learn the tools to cope with those that are more complex. My clients are typically open to insight and new perspectives and are able to reflect on their own roles in both the challenges they face and the changes they seek, and they’re motivated to take meaningful steps toward growth. If you're someone who’s curious, self-aware, ready to explore new ways of thinking and relating, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Together, we can unpack, process, and work toward a more grounded fulfilling life.
As a therapist, I utilize a blended approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support my clients in achieving meaningful, lasting change. CBT helps clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, understand how their beliefs influence emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier coping strategies. In tandem, I incorporate SFBT to build on clients’ existing strengths and explore solutions rather than focusing solely on problems. This dual approach allows me to meet clients where they are—addressing current challenges while also helping them envision and move toward their preferred future. Together, CBT and SFBT empower clients to gain insight, build confidence, and take actionable steps toward emotional wellness and personal growth.
My approach focuses on exploring clients' goals, exceptions to problems, and past successes to support meaningful change. Rather than dwelling on problems, I collaborate with clients to envision their preferred future and develop practical, achievable steps toward it. Through targeted questioning, such as the miracle question and scaling techniques, I guide clients to recognize their own resilience and capabilities, empowering them to take actionable steps toward their desired outcomes.
