I have dedicated 12 years to social services including working with children and families, LGBTQIA+, people living with chronic illnesses, and veterans. I have been working as a therapist for the last 3 years with my LCSW. My areas of interest include anxiety, trauma, depression, anger management, and adjustment concerns. I utilize various approaches to therapy services including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acute safety planning interventions. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will review your assessment information completed prior to our meeting. We will review your history and background to establish a better understanding of you and your needs. During this session, we will develop a plan for your services moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I practice active and empathetic listening skills to help understand where the client is coming from and how I can best assist the client. I focus on helping clients find their own strengths to work through challenges and opportunities for growth. I want to work WITH clients to help them reach their goals.
