Counseling is a space where you can explore, process, heal and grow. By being vulnerable we can allow ourselves the space to reflect on who we are now and where we have come from. I believe that we deserve a space where we can feel safe, comfortable and free from judgement. In this space, we can take out some of the boxes that are stored away and discover how we can let go of what no longer serves us while creating new ways of being and relating to ourselves, others, and the world around us .

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I use a multidisciplinary therapeutic approach that consists of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and mindfulness-based techniques and adjust my modality to what best helps you. My areas of speciality are treating anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, relationship difficulties, and stress from major life transitions. First we will go over your history and from there build a comprehensive treatment plan to work on moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to provide a space where you feel centered and can focus completely on your needs. Sometimes we find ourselves in counseling for significant mental health disorders. Other times we need support while dealing with periods of transition, difficulties with self-esteem or emotions that are bigger than usual. I will be in your team to support you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The way we think, feel and behave are all connected. We can explore how these interact and work on each piece to help empower ourselves.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I help to teach and encourage mindfulness based modalities to get us out of our heads and connected to our bodies.

Strength-Based

We are all unique individuals. Some things we do well. We can focus in on our strengths to harness them for self-help.
