I have been working in this field for about 10 years, I have worked with children to elderly individuals. I have worked in hospital settings and worked crisis situations. I am direct therapist and I will not put more into therapy than my clients put into their own therapy. I have the knowledge, tools and want to help but it is up to the individual to implement what they learn in order to be successful at therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I am not a typical therapist, because I am real, straight forward and I don't sugar coat the information. I have passion, drive and want to help. I enjoy talking to individuals that are willing to put the effort into change. I'm not going to make it feel like therapy, but you are going to feel better after the session because you will feel heard, validated and encouraged.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been told that I am easy to talk to, don't judge and I have a great deal of knowledge about a lot of things. I also want the best for every client I work with and believe that everyone has the power to change if they want to change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an effective form of therapy for problems from depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marital problems, eating disorders and severe mental illness. I have utilized this practice to help individuals learn how to cope and learn how to change unhelpful behaviors.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I enjoy solution focused in my practice because that is about finding solutions rather than fixing the problem. May people are tired on focusing on what is broken, they just want to know how to move forward.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Builds on CBT, being aware of your mind, body and focus on how to refocus, ground yourself and be able to remove distractions.
