What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, I will get to know you a little better and talk about specific challenges you might face. We will start building goals for therapy targeting the specific areas that you want to work on. I always give my client's that opportunity to ask questions and go over any concerns they might have.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use a client-centered approach and use "opportunities" in my sessions with you to bring in different tools such as DBT, CBT and psychodynamic therapy. I love bringing in the latest information and articles, if that is something that interest you.
