Hi! I'm Dr. Jas and I have been a Licensed Psychologist in CA since 2016. I am from the midwest originally, but all of my postdoctoral training and early career has been in CA. I work with individuals, couples, families, groups, and consult with major companies about psychological wellness and burnout prevention. I am also a certified yoga instructor and truly believe in mind/body connection.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I am big on building rapport during the first couple of sessions and I am completely open to you getting to know me as well because that makes you feel more comfortable. I am human too so ask any questions you want! I take notes the first session, but it's a pretty semi-organic structured intake session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Most therapy treats symptoms, but I help clients reconnect with themselves in a way that lasts. I do this by integrating evidence-based psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and values-aligned living that helps clients not only feel better, but live more authentically.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I like to work with adults and professionals who are outwardly successful, but internally disconnected and seeking depth, alignment, and sustainable emotional health rather than surface-level coping. I do lots of work with performers, but that includes you because we all perform in some way shape or form. I also love working with anxiety, adjustment, depression, cultural stress, relationship stress, and personal values.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I look at the client in front of me as an individual and so I tend to draw interventions from a few therapy approaches depending on what the presenting concern is. Specifically, I use aspects of Relational-Cultural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Acceptance-Commitment Therapy. I help individuals reconnect with their authentic selves through integrative, depth-oriented therapy so you're not only managing life, but life can feel transformed. I am also a certified yoga instructor so I believe in mind body connection, therefore, I am big on Biofeedback and listening (not ignoring) to our bodies when we may be distressed so we can act sooner.
